Azam Ali bio
She was born in Teheran, Israel (yes, another Israeli on this blog). Since a child she grew up in India and during her adolescence, she moved with her family to the United States. During that time she decided to dedicate her life to music.
She began learning how to play Iranian Santur, which is a very complex but extremely powerful instrument. (Listen some relaxing santur here)
After becoming a very skilfull santur player, she decided to improve her singing abbilities. Nowadays, Azam Ali is a very complete artist which integrates ethnic music from many places around the world: from Israel to India, from Iran to the U.S.
