Female Power

Few things can take our breath away like the passion behind a female voice.

In today's music industry it is very common to find male singers, guitarrists, drummers and all sorts musicians. But when we stumble upon talented women in front of the audience it is worth checking them out.

Three impresive voices

So I took upon the very difficult task to sort out three female voices each with a different music style. After several hours of ponderation here is the result:

Zaz (Isabelle Geffroy)

She was born in Tous, France in 1980. Influenced by several artists like Ella Fitzgerald,  Isabelle has managed to fuze French music with Gypsy Jazz. Altough her main language is French, she also writes and sings in Spanish and Portuguese.

Selah Sue

She was born in Leuven, Belgium in 1989. She was influenced since a kid by most of the greatest Reggae and classic Rythm & Blues artists. She studied pschology which according to her helped to understand human emotions in deep.

Concha Buika

María Concepción Balboa Buika was born in Palma de Malorca, Spain on 1972. She grew up in a very poor town through a very rough political time. Her father, Juan Balboa Boneke was a writer, from who she enherited her artist-self. Through the sadness in Flamenco genere, she developed her style and music.
